The general election for two council positions was held yesterday and the preliminary results are as follows:

I want to congratulate the presumptive winners and extend my thanks to everyone who ran. The next City of Cherryvale Governing Body election is in the Spring of 2011, and it will be for the Mayor and two council members. Also, I appreciate everyone who voted and performed your duty as citizens of this great city.
